Meet marie

From a very young age, Marie dreamed of being a “Woman in Motorsports”. Back in the early 80s, there weren’t many women in motorsports and entry into the sport was not very accessible for someone who didn’t already have an established connection. So, she stayed a fan from afar. She watched a lot of automotive races & rallies, collected models and posters, and enjoyed the sport, hoping for a day where she could somehow become more involved.

With a love for motorsports always looming in the back of her mind but the reality of the expectations of adulthood being ever present, the free time necessary to pursue the hobby of the dreams was nonexistent. And at the age of 30, she left a career in the world of finance and found her second career in healthcare. While the job is demanding, it actually allows her the time to pursue the things in life that make her happy.

Marie first heard about the Rebelle Rally in 2016 and added it to the list of “someday” things she wanted to do. In 2022, she decided that it was time to start doing these things that she intended to do, so she immediately reached out to Hanna to ask her to join her on this journey.
